Permitted Locations: 

  •  Farragut Square
  • Constitution Avenue North Sidewalk, 19th Street to 22nd Street
  • Constitution Avenue South Sidewalk, 2200 Street to 3rd  Street
  • Galvez Park
  • Portion of Henry Bacon Ballfield area

     

Authorized Equipment/Materials

o Bullhorn or Hand-held sound system
o Signs/placards and banner(s)
o Literature for free distribution

 

Timeline: (estimated)

o Assembly (Farragut Square)                  10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
o Marchers depart                                 10:30 a.m.
o Marchers arrive near State Department   11:00 a.m.
o Marchers depart for U. S. Capitol           12:00 noon
o Marchers arrive at U. S. Capitol               1:00 p.m.  

 

Proposed March Route:
o Begin at Farragut Square
o South on 17th Street
o West on Pennsylvania Ave to 19th St.
o South un 19th Street to Constitution Avenue
o West on Constitution Avenue to 22nd Street *

 

*Participants may gather in either of two permitted locations on National Park Service lands 
I} Ball Field area on South side of Constitution Avenue
2}Galvez Park on North side of Department of State, (Limit of 200 participants)
